Very nice piece. Lucky to get the green dial one. My story is similar with AP in the sense that my SA was also gone and I had no idea for months. I reached out again to see what was going on and my new SA was nice and touched base again on the piece I was waiting for which was a 15500ST in black. That was in Nov/2021 and by March/2022 she did get me that watch. I was pushing for the blue dial one but I was very excited with the purchase anyway. Now, almost a year later I'm hoping the get either the 15510OR with the blue dial or the new gold chrono with the blue dial as well. We'll see what can she get for me.

Congrats OP! Tried on the 15510 olive at the boutique several times last year and loved how the color just lights up under the lighting. This would make a great daily wearer and hoping to be lucky enough to get allocated one soon!

I think i’m more impressed by the fact you were able to get a perpetual as your first piece
Isn’t that usually a special allocation piece, or were the rules different in 2018?
It seems like so long ago :)

At the time it was trading for less than MSRP on the grey market. When i had purchased this piece it had been sitting in the showcase. In 2018 there weren't many customers willing to purchase a SS sports watch for 66k usd

It’s mind boggling how much has changed so quickly.
Nonetheless, well done, well deserved, and congratulations on an excellent AP duo. Wear them in the best of health.

Great story. Thanks for sharing. Someone should start a thread: Grail watches we bought years ago just sitting in the case...
Similar story to my first PP Nautilus — along with a discount to take it off their hands.
