5235/50R Arrived

Though he didn't know exactly when my AD delivered and I just picked up the spectacular 5235/50R.

Some of you may remember my post from a few weeks ago when I was first introduced to this piece. Am excited to share that it has surpassed my expectations (a theme in my nascent PP journey).

5935a and now the 5235/50R compromise my initial PP collection - both allocations within a 2 week span. Combine that with the 5227R I was able to pick up as my very first allocation (though that was a gift and not in my collection) it’s been an amazing introduction into the brand. My AD has been carrying PP for 24 years and the passion and loyalty for the brand oozes through in the experience they’ve created for me. Quite the contrast to so many other brand experiences many of us have experienced in recent years.

Here it is!

Congratulations on another incoming and what sounds like a great AD. Hopefully, my local Patek dealer will start treating their customers with the same level of dignity you have been treated. I won’t hold my breath though

Keep your AD close—sounds like you found a keeper.

Beautiful looks stunning really love the warm tone of the R version vs the previous G but both are great. Really think this a great an unique piece.
Merry Xmas

It really looks great in that color combo. Hard to put my finger on why it’s so much better than the G

Thanks all! I’ve only seen the white gold version in pics but from a design perspective I would say the rose gold softens the ‘harsh’ slate style dial that has hard lines running vertically alongside the very metallic look. It’s the necessary ‘soft’ design element to balance it out that I don’t think is found in the white gold (though that piece is wonderful in it’s on right, just different).
