Is this a 5167A?

I got this piece back in 2002 and just recently took it out of my safe. I don’t have papers for it. This looks like a 5167, but the dial patterns seem a bit different in size. There is no noticeable marking on the back of the watch. Just wondering whether you folks can tell if it is a 5167 from the photos.

Yeah possibly a 5060, it's the first Aquanaut.

I have seen them listed at $19.5k.

The way to find out for sure is take a look at what's printed inside the case back.

Or a 5065, which is 38mm. The 5064 and 5060 are a big smaller.

I think it’s the 5060 as it’s a closed case back. Only 1000 made in steel apparently.

Why not send it for service and have them get you a extract from archive to then be given to someone if you're looking to sell. Would give reference number, movement number and year. Could also then go onto ebay and buy a patek box from that year if you want to sell it as a set or something.

is it a quartz? I saw one like that at the salon in London and the SA was wearing it as it was her personal watch. I handled it briefly and the case back looked like that. It wasn't the more recent version of the ladies aquanaut, it was much older. Looked a lot like that one if i remember correctly

I was going to say the same thing...that watch in 2002 was not inexpensive...heck the model was only about 5yrs old at that point.

But per the reply, from the OP, he must have some very nice friends. Enjoy the gift, it's a rare watch that is really screaming up in value. 3 years ago it was listed used at less than 10k. Now it's hard to find them for less than 19k.

Indeed not a 5065 as my watch has a sapphire crystal back.
