obviously a lot easier (and cheaper) to get one of those. most other brands that have a rose-gold "dive" style watch (e.g. yachtmaster oysterflex, etc) on rubber use a black band, rather than a brown one.
It should work nicely 👍🏻

I think it works , as a sidenote this 5167R is the hottest sports watch right now I think

Patek Salon in London absolutely insisted on cutting my green strap to my current black sized one despite me saying not too bother as I could do it myself.

They were very persistent in a kind of way you read on Rolex sticker removal threads :)

Didnt bother me as I intend to use it, however I wasnt sure wether they were being extra kind or didnt want me to flog for profit!!! It was only a week or so after that the Tiffanys post appeared claiming it to be discontinued

Hey Passionata,
I have been in contact with Christian.. it's not that I don't want to help out here, but I do want to protect both of us from getting disappointed, in the event the strap is somehow lost in transit to Germany. At that point, one -- or both of us -- is out the money, no one has the strap, and no one is happy..!

Call me paranoid, but I haven't had the greatest experience in the past with international shipping (be it an issue with the U.S. side shipper, customs, or otherwise). Plus, the holiday season is when shippers are extra busy and can more easily get lost.

I think the Black is the perfect color. It makes the rose gold so much richer. Beautiful timepiece.

hi George,
Yeah, I have very little experience dealing with international shipping. If efforts to sell domestically don't reach fruition (...I wound up putting it on eBay, ugh), let me talk with you in more detail to see how we can make this happen for Christian.

I think black would make the rosegold look quite stunning, in contrast to the warmth offered by the oem brown. Maybe I'll get the black next..

Some sample pics below -- never mounted, obviously never cut (it's brand new).

What do you all think of the combination?

If I decide it's not for me, I'll probably list it here on FS classifieds, or on ebay.

Usually it turns up being expensive when you don’t buy a rubber, not in this case

Patek will repair any watch they’ve ever made, so why would they drop production of the specially coloured rubber for that piece?
It will only be supplied and fitted upon proof of ownership of the LE Aquanaut – a decision taken only in the last three or four weeks.
Which is the LE aquanaut?

That price is crazy, there are some rep ones on ebay and Google images for 40, but look quite green the real one is more khaki.

Yup that works much better, not three grand better but it does. I'm really into camo/khaki for 2019 as well... think I might get the ROO strap, got the Valentino trainers and Off-White cap, maybe also get a Tom Ford camo wallet if someone from Goyard doesn't stop me.

I've actually turned down more than that,

And in this crazy world I'm gonna sit on it and if I decide to keep my 5167 the green will Be going on it
