Thoughts about the 5091?

Wondering what people think about this watch.

https://www.europeanwatch.com/froogle/43996.html

I’ll admit, I’d never even heard of it before seeing this listing.

Stainless 37mm Patek—that certainly works in its favor. The Russian backstory is… interesting. But I’m guessing the design is polarizing. I can’t make up my mind about it. Plum ugly, or sort of interesting? FWIW, I find the nautilus very unattractive, and only sort of like the Aquanaut. To my mind, PP is a dress-watch brand with a couple interesting pilot-type pieces and chronographs mixed in. But this one’s kinda funky. Maybe?

Not in the market. Just curious to know others’ thoughts.

:) No sparks, I guess. Maybe this has been discussed here before (?) but I didn’t turn up anything when I searched before posting.

After more reflection and after watching Tim Mosso’s videos about this reference (in various dial configs), I find myself leaning toward “ugly.” It would make a huge difference, IMO, if it were all/mostly brushed, rather than fully polished. The case is cool, but the bracelet is too busy—like an overwrought supershiny version of what VC does with the Overseas.
