Old school tonight. La Gloria Cubana. After all these years, still a solid well made and flavorful smoke.

I have a new favorite every day cigar, the La Gloria Cubana Series R #6. A fantastic cigar, very close to a Cuban cigar. I'm buying a box of them this weekend, a "must" try cigar.

Indeed. The R is a great smoke. Before stronger cigars were popular it was one of the early powerhouse full cigars on the market. Consistently well made.

Hey guys. I am thinking about building a humidor, strictly to store boxes. I have a large table top that will hold 300 or so loose cigars in the bottom and another 50 or so on the top tray. But it is not good for storing whole boxes.
I looked around online and found some good ideas, but wanted to see if any of you have any input or experience with this.

What are you Puffing on now?

Some signature Torano 1996 stick. Kind of bland...

Edit: it improved about half way in. Actually pretty tasty smoke. Good draw and burn. 👍🏻

Wow, that looks like an awesome project. Where do you get the ammo boxes in such great shape?

Tonight, with a little Aberlour Scotch and my new 5711, a very tasty Pickle Juice.

looking great Kevin

not my project, i was on the hunt for a proper humidor and was getting desperate and considering the alternatives… eventually i found what i was looking for, a Manning that would hold ~120 sticks… finest humidors i have ever seen

that ammo box idea is really top shelf too

Ahh, got it. I saw the Manning you located and it was really beautiful. The problem for me is I don't just collect watches but cigars too! The normal size humidor never would hold enough for me so the interest in the large ammo box.

That looks perfect. Thanks Gus. Much appreciated. I have plenty of cedar and humidifiers. Just need a proper box. This would work great.

I cannot seem to move past the vintage Rolex obsession that I have been on for a few years now.
Tatuaje Miami after a BBQ and too much food.

Love the Conjuno 03👍🏻
Enjoying a Perdomo Lot 23 after watching Spieth attempt only 9 putts on the whole back 9. He must of made 200+ feet in putts today. Glad to see him bounce back.
