OP 1013 is this worth it?

Hi Guys. I'm considering purchasing this for $7000 . I found this at a jewelers' without box and papers. So I didn't have much to go on.
The seller says that it's from 1963-64 b based on the 952* serial number.
I couldn't see between the lugs or inside the caseback so that information is all from the pictures and information given to me by the seller.
Really keen on the watch .

I am not able to determine if it is ..
- an "original" [non-franken] watch
- the lume plots and hand lume look relatively new (he says its the original dial though)
- The dial says "T Swiss Made T" which I thought was there from the 80s and not the 60s.

Am I missing anything in this. ?

Thanks

Xet

Google "Rolex 1013" it and you will see what you have there.

Hi 214270Explorer

I did do that. But there is so much information out there it's hard to find something specific.

I have the same watch in serial 5,266,xxx from 1978. With papers to prove original. Mine has the same dial and end case marking. But my end case markings are stamped not hand inscribed.

That is a really nice example. The dial on yours says "T Swiss T" though. Isn't that more appropriate for the watch than a "T SWISS MADE T" which I think is from the 80s on the example that I saw

sorry if i am being pedantic. :D
