bezel maintenance!

So, the bezel on my T-serial had not been rotating as freely as it used to. Working fine now!

One of the advantages to not having a ceramic . Nice job dyi cleaning out the crud to free up the bezel.

Done this to my 16710 and 16600, wish the new ceramic cases had user serviceable bezels.

It was a rainy Sunday, and I'd never removed it before. Not sand I don't think as it was not gritty but it sure was sticky ...and nasty! Purchased 4 yrs ago and fully serviced 5 years ago there must surely have been a lot of silent history in that gunk.

Anyway, very satisfying to know it is clean and optimally functional again :)
