Thank you all for your thoughts. I went to my local AD today and tried on a DJ41 with rhodium dial and domed bezel and oyster. Didn’t really do anything for me. I then tried the fluted, rhodium and jubilee, my heart rate went up. It looked good. I think it was the jubilee bracelet that did it. I think I am still leaning towards an explorer so I then asked the sales guy if it was possible to buy an explorer and order an additional jubilee. The guy didn’t seem it was possible. Any thoughts from you good people out there?

What happened in the end? Have you reached a decision?!

DJ 126300 would be my choice between these two
But I would rather go with Explorer II 216570. This way you'll have Sea and Land - two Rolex sport/tool watches.

Apologies for the delayed response. Decided on the explorer over the datejust. Unfortunately haven't been able to pick one up from an AD. It looks like I'm back to the drawing board. I have seen a few posts on the OP 114300 in white that catches my eye. Went to my AD in London today and there don't have any OP's and don't know when one would come in!!! SAD :(
