Just got my new Everest band

Installed on my Black Bay 41 blue. As usual took me way longer than it should have to switch hands. Several scratches later here is the result.

Love the look and feel of this rubber band. Holds the position on my wrist much better than the OEM nato. Extremely comfortable and the fit is just about perfect. $225 is a lot to pay for a hunk of rubber but I have to say Everest did a really nice job and I'm very happy with it so far.

Looks great on the rubber! What tool did you use to change bands?

Thanks. Used a spring bar removal tool I got on Amazon a while back. It's not a bad tool but it's the wrong size which probably explains some of the scratches :(

Yes, I agree about how well the fit is for the Everest straps; it is the primary reason I chose them over RubberB (cost was a minor factor). I've got one on two watches and just received an Isofrane for my 5 digit Sub which will go on shortly! No issue with scratches on the sub as it's a through hole design! The Isofrane is a traditional straight end strap used during the 60s and 70s.

I was never sure about a BB on rubber but I must say, that looks pretty impressive. Congrats on the new shoes!

This looks great on the BB -- especially as summer daily wearer.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah this is strictly a casual watch for me - I don't wear with any sort of dress clothes. If you are going for that outdoors casual beachy vibe I definitely recommend taking a look at the Everest straps.

Not my cup of tea and IMHO they are overpriced for what they are, trouble once you link the Rolex or Tudor name price of strap doubles.

You're very right OP. The rubber definitely wears better than nato. It feels more secure and balanced. Here's mine on a Rubber B. I also have two rubber straps as an alternative for my Daytona but just for fun. I prefer the bracelet.

Ain't that the truth. I guess they figure Rolex/Tudor owners will say, "if I'm willing to pay $5-10K for a watch, $200+ for a strap is a bargain!"

That looks great. I haven't considered a rubber strap for either of my Rolexes I think mainly out of fear of mucking them up trying to remove the bracelet

Really the rubber strap is the best for the watch if it is going in the water. If a wetsuit is worn the strap can be adjusted. Rolex recommends not wearing their cloth strap in the water. The bracelet has no diver's extension. I really like the Everest on the THBBN that I have. Also it's nice on my 116600. As far as price is concerned; does anyone know the price off hand of the Oyster Flex? I just purchased an Isofrane for my sub. It is a traditional diver's strap which goes for about half the cost but doesn't have the nicely fitted ends (straight ends instead).

Very nice. I have been thinking about the Crafter Blue straps from Strapcode, but do not like the metal keeper that is on them.

I have a few isofranes for my seikos- fantastic straps! I wish they made an option of a thinner strap though as they are pretty chunky for a Rolex IMO
