Icon6 5167 thoughts?

Hello TRF,

Deciding my next purchase -- a 5167. Still a bit unsure whether this is my next watch. My collection as it stands: 116710, 118238, 116234.

Would love to hear some suggestions on other timepieces in the same relative price point. Im in my mid 20's, very active, like to wear my watches not store them in a vault.

Looking forward to your comments!

I love my 5167. It’s far and away the watch I wear most often. More than my 5711 and 114060 combined. It’s incredibly comfortable, sporty, and legible. Fantastic lume as well. And extremely versatile to almost any scenario.

That being said, I am more careful wearing it (and even more so with the 5711) than my SubC.

To the OP......

https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=605447

Click the above link to read my thread for all the information regarding 5167....^^^......"Incoming" and why I pick this Patek Philippe sport watch (Review + a lot of pics)

Would also like to add this information since you say you're very active....

The bezel of the Aquanaut is scratch magnet so is the clasp too.... You only need wrist awareness on those two parts.....

Happy hunting.....

I think it is a good next watch for you as you venture outside of the Rolex world.

Best PP to fit in with those Rolexes. Also the new Ceramic AP 42 ROOs.

I just wore my 5167a every day during a 3 week trip to New Mexico where I went hiking every day and I didn't get a scratch on the bezel or case of the watch. Because of it's low profile it does not catch on door frames and other hazardous objects. It is as legible as a Panerai for low light or no light use. I love Rolex watches, but try reading the time on a Submariner at 2am.

Hi Guys. Was wondering if you guys knew the wait time for a 51671a? With the steel bracelet. My wife told me she ordered one but not sure of the wait time. So more curious than anything

Congrats on the watch and winning the lotto on a significant other who supports this passion.

There is really no rule of thumb for specific wait times. That's become a popular watch for sure, slightly less popular on bracelet albeit more versatile. Could be a week, could be a year. Depending on your AD's priority, inventory and other clients... If she gave them a deposit and checks in every so often hopefully it's on the sooner side of thing.

I just got my 51671a about a month and I live hit. Highly recommen as getting the bracelet and tropical strap. Pictures of the bracelet do not do it justice. Worth the wait.

Good luck!

I think the 5167 would be a great addition to your collection

Depend on city & country......

The 5167 is sought after......

The bracelet is less popular but the waiting time is the same as rubber strap due to (1 out of 5) 5167 the bracelet is produce.....
