As I mentioned earlier, start from the right footing ie buy one or two of their high end watches first.. you will find the boutique will pamper you all the way. A friend of mine started out with the Kongo, (don’t buy from AD, buy from the boutique) he is being offered all the latest releases now. Good luck n happy shopping.

I understand that. But, do those customers really care about these silly $150k watches then? :)

Clearly they don't, because they all end up on the grey market.

Funny you mention the Kongo. It caught my eye, and my wife's.

I think it clearly depends on the boutique, but for the most part you’re right!

They want the top down model!

So, you buy one of the Skulls, Kongo, Nadal, or custom 56s or 57s and then they let you collect all the colorful 11s like G-Shock 5600...

I want RM back with some model in 004 and 008 range...

I never had a tournillion Rm, or a high end over 500k us dollars retail one.

My first rm was a Rm30 Ti in stock at thr boutique and a year later i requested the 11-03 ti, which i paid in full and received in 2 months.

So not impossible, or really hard etc, just pay and wait a bit

Pay and wait a bit is much more reasonable to me.

That's how it works (for me, anyway) with Steel Rolexes. I've gotten everything I've ever wanted, just requires waiting.

New RM25-01 from Stallone’s instagram. Looks huge even on his gigantic arms.

Am I the only one who loves it? Although it'll probably look like a can of tuna strapped to my wrists!

Wow, so... Perhaps I should just not bother with RM. :(

Sticking to Patek, Rolex, FP Journe, Lange, Greubel Forsey, and the like seems to be working out fine for me.

Mind PM'ing me which AD or Boutiques you've been given the cold shoulder by? I'll avoid them.

Thank you!

Same. GF is a very, very long wait.

I don't mind the wait. Some of my FP Journe orders took 11 months to produce, as well. GF has been my record in terms of length of the waits.

I don't mind so long as I get what I want in the end. :) I can wait years if I have to.

GF has never turned me down though. The respect from their retailers, US importer, and Swiss HQ, has been top notch for me -- even though I did not buy their $1m Sapphire piece. :)

What's the story of this piece? Why did they make a piece unique? I feel like the orange ruined the transparency of the sapphire case /:

If you pay enough you can get any color combination you want... it is not the first piece unique 56-01... as I know there is one with the gold accents and this one...

How does one convince them to do a bespoke job when you're not named Yohan Blake or Jean Todt? :)

Suggesting to instagram pages of persons who got custom 056s they already spent 6-10 million $ on RM watches... so if they suggest to RM that they are willing to spend another 2 million, on piece that doesn't need any R&D and just a little color insert they will be stupid not to take their money :)

On other side, brother of Qatar khalifa in Dubrovnik, Croatia wearing 25-01... hurry up just 18 pieces left :)
