I really enjoyed it too. Great cinematography of some beautiful watches. And his points are valid and good to keep in mind.

I believe Watchfinder to be the best watch related channel on YouTube

Yeah, general stuff you can hardly object. These guys have a good choice and quality watches , they are quite known in UK, but their price are a bit over the UK market.

Great video and very true! I have been guilty of some of the things he mentioned to avoid, such as impulse buy due to impatience.

In the US I think Govberg/Watchbox is also a bit over market, but they also have good quality stock and can be trusted. If the watches used in the Watchfinder videos are representative of the quality of their offerings, they probably are worth a small premium over market.

I agree, these guys have significant overheads and are not a charity, makes sense if you want to buy quality watches and the service to pay some kind of premium.

I don’t understand the click-bait comments. Click-bait content is designed to get viewers to click on a link or links in a particular web page. I saw none of that in the video.

Edit: let me retract that - I didn’t see all the links in YouTube at first - nevermind that comment of mine above. But I do still believe the advice for newbies is of value.

In fact - the video is quite right about the pitfalls many new buyers face in making their first big luxury watch purchase. If the voiceover was turned into bulleted talking points it would serve as a great sticky.

That's because you don't have to deal with them.

Seems like "well duh!" type of information. However, we have all been there at some point, myself included. Though, I have been able to resist MOST of the time. I have had one moment of weakness that happened to be my biggest purchase.
