FS: 1963 Rolex Submariner ref.5513 w/ White Swiss Underline Dial

The present Submariner checks all the boxes for collectors. The aged dial with gilt lettering is original with the white “underline” and white “Swiss” designations clear and visible. A rare piece amongst so many, the Submariner “Underline” is worth of any collection, and a must have for any serious collection of sports watches.

S/N: 89X,XXX (1963)

Case: Excellent thick pointed crown guard case which has previously been polished with light wear from use. Comes with a stunning fat font bezel insert which has faded evenly to a light gray/blue hue with light wear. Inner caseback is stamped: 5513 II.63. Serial and reference numbers are crisp and well defined.

Dial: Very good ultra rare gilt white SWISS only under line dial with creamy yellow hour markers fully intact and matching hands. The minute hand has been colored to match the dial. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV light and falls off quickly which is correct for this series of dial.

Bracelet: Excellent Oyster Rivet with 12 links and 80 end links. Bracelet clasp is stamped 4.65.
