this has been my experience with fitting the bracelet. Riding up and then down over the wrist bone is uncomfortable for me personally. But, you do you

Exactly! How it feels on the wrist is very important.

Where what you like and enjoy; it’s for you anyway. Besides, no one else is even paying attention.

Discussing if a watch it too big on someone else is like discussing if everything they wear looks good or it fits too tight or too loose. Never ending process. In essence we are saying that 'this watch would not fit on me if I had that wrist'

I also don't think anyone should tell another individual what size watch they should wear. Everyone should wear what they like and what makes them feel good. Whether that's a 44mm Panerai on a 6.5" wrist or a 36mm DJ on an 7.5" wrist. It's all up to what each individual likes and feels comfortable with.

Here are a few pics taken seconds apart. One looks like the lugs extend past my wrist and the other looks like I have room to spare...

As a person who dabbles quite a bit in photography... This deduction is spot on regarding the photo approach

The only opinion that matters is yours. My sweet spot is 40-42mm but i love the look and feel of many 47mm PAMs.

with a 6.75 in "medium" sized wrist, the 39 - 42mm size looks, and fits, best on me (personal opinion of course). Could I wear a 43mm SD, or slightly larger - sure, but I wouldn't feel it looked right on me. So, it is about how you feel, not what others think. That said, when I see others wearing a very loose watch, that flops around on their wrist, I wonder how that isn;t extremely distracting and uncomfortable - but YMMV. This is about as big as I choose to go

Individual preference.

Generally speaking if you have to ask, it’s too large IMO

100% yes. The strap or bracelet should flow as a natural extension of the lugs and not abruptly 90 degrees away like a child clinging for dear life to the safety bar of an out of control roller coaster.

And unless the camera is 2 inches from the crystal, that isn't the problem with most examples.

Would you wear shoes or a shirt that's too big? If no, why should you wear a watch where the lugs are hanging out...

I don't think it is, but do you like the watch? If you do then wear it.

People wear 52mm watches. No watch is too big (or too small.)

The watch does not look big from the pictures, actually it looks accurate and perfect.

As plenty of others have said, the foreshortening effect you get from an extreme wrist close-up is never flattering, and often quite deceiving.

The watch sizes I’ve preferred have changed considerably over the years, but my own personal rule of thumb has always been ‘no overhanging lugs’. When I see that I always think it looks like a kid taking his dads watch to show-and-tell.

But each to their own, and as long as the owner thinks it looks good that’s all that matters. Wear ‘em if you’ve got ‘em.

100% up to the owner. If they are happy that's all that matters.

Of course your watch doesn’t look that big on your 6.5 inch wrist because you’re wearing it almost at your elbow!!
