Buying from www.passionevintage.com

Hi

I am in the process of buying a watch from Passione Vintage - Home Page. They are located in Palermo, Italy.

Now I would like to ask you if you think I should go through with the purchase? ..based on following facts that I have checked out:

This is the watch: Dettagli Orologio: ULYSSE NARDIN - MAXI MARINER CHRONOMETER POWER RESERVE

1. Store exists on google maps, next to Prada (good location)

2. Store has 360 degrees inside view, looks good
3. Store website shows google maps location correctly
4. I emailed them asking for certificates of the watch and where it has been bought from - I got reply with both the same day.
5. I emailed for more fotos - They sent me more fotos
6. I personally called the store with the number found on the website - which is also in google maps and have them put the watch on hold for me (which they did according to the website)
7. I have found review of them: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/passionevintage.com

Problems:

1. The website is very slow (Maybe normal in Italy / Spain)
2. There are only two fotos of the watch online (as of this writing) and they show different time, date and charge, BUT the hand showing seconds is at the exact same position - maybe they just used the crown to change the time, date and charge??? here is a foto of the comparison:

3. I called about that - they knew who I was from my emails (good) and said they would send updated pictures.

So what you think? Is this 100% legit?

Thanks

Based on the info you provided I'd say they are legit, but I'd ask for more pictures and also try to find more reviews and references. The best advertising is word of mouth, good or bad.

Bought the watch.
Quick and tracable shipment with DHL.
Everything smooth, always reachable seller.
Watch looks legit (I have a few so I can tell a cheap fake easily). I will 100% confirm it next week at an official Ulysse Mardin shop, but everything was included in the package - Certificate, Warranty, Box etc. (if fake would have to be a very good one)

...yes this is a Rolex forum but being that Rolex is not really anything special (every idiot in hollywood has one) posting to this forum will likely reach a wide audience. Also this will help the next guy purchasing from them because this treath here will come up on google search

DavidTorro or Silvan

1) Definitely a Fake if it's a "Ulysse Mardin"
2) Not very classy of you to call Rolex wearers idiots
3) Agree posting on this forum exposes how "classy" you are to a wider audience

I am new to this forum:)!

I live in Zurich and have a few Rolexes. I am relatively young (27), hence my question to the all-knowing community!

I have a 27 year old Submariner (168000, transitional).

It looks like this:

Now as you can see the dial is "damaged" and the hands are oxidided.

Yesterday I was at the Rolex shop to have it pressure-checked. Everything was fine the guys there said - but I should have it serviced because "the dial is old and the hands are oxidided".

Now as I said I am relatively young an inexperienced with vintage watches. This one is 27 years old and I wonder if by replacing the dial and the hands it would lose value (I think yes)?

Also - would you recommend to replace both the dial and the hands? I wonder if that would extend its lifetime (let's assume in this case I do not care about the resell-value)?

Many thanks to you

Yet you own a Rolex?
Troll....

Good to hear that the Italian shop apparently checks out.

Don't feel like you have to come back then. This site will be fine without you.
