I have these two in my collection new help with ID

I purchase these two watches as a set from a pawn shop years ago, both 18k gold and styled "like" Rolex. I wear the men's watch a few times a year. I am hoping someone here can give me info on these watches.

Are they real gold or not? They may have started life as real Day Dates then someone added aftermarket dials and the stones to the cases or they are knock offs.

Bought at a pawn shop my be your first clue especially if they didn't come with boxes or papers!

I wonder if OP is hoping someone is going to say that they are real. OEM by Rolex for Valentino. Kinda like how DuPont OEMs lighters for Davidoff....

One of the above manufacturing partnerships is real. The other.. Not so much.

I highly doubt someone who paid a bomb for a Rolex would want people to think it was a "rudolph valentino"

If we follow the logic of the google results for the brand name it would suggest that these are not gold and not valuable.

They are real gold and real diamonds, I purchased them for gold weight. I've had them tested and all is good but no one has seen these before.

Ok thanks for the comments good and bad lol. I just received a message from a expert. They are real gold and diamonds ( I knew that part) day date copies. Produced in the 80's by a company that customized watches including Rolex. They are collectable and whole value because they are not seen as collectors have gobbled them all up. Thanks Paul for the info

they look well made and i could see putting them on occasionally ..… but skeptical on how collectable they would be

thinking that this would be their enduring value.

No GF, because I am happily married. Not worried about your belts, just enjoy when someone post fakes without being upfront about them, and then fesses up when they get called out as counterfeits!

Cheers
