PAM01616 vs PAM00616

New vs original carbotech submersible, which one do you like more and why?

I like 616 better as the lume of 1616 is too blue to me..

Really tough call....the 1616’s blue is pretty cool and modern, which goes well with carbotech, but the numerals of the 616 also are a good thing to have.

Best is to compare the two, especially to see if the thinner case makes a difference (good or bad) for such a submersible and material.

I actually probably would be tempted to go 661 over either.

My choice would be the PAM00616.

Interesting, I didn't know there was a difference in thickness. I'll need to check them out in person to compare.

Yeah, the blue markers do look cool and I'm leaning towards 1616 as I'm not a big fan of fauxtina on 616.

I would take either as both look great and are basically the same watch. It would come down to the deal.

I don’t know if I’ll tire of it. But since I picked up my 1616, it hasn’t really left my wrist. I absolutely love the blue. It wears very easily for a 47mm.

How does carbotech material feel? Is it as sturdy as advertised? Thanks.

just bought the 1616 a few weeks ago, what I can say now is i feel sturdy and smooth when turning the bezel. I take care of my watch so luckily no scratches so far. my AD told me that you can remove scratches by just rubbing it with an eraser!

Tough choice. I lean more towards the 616 because I think it looks good on a brown strap.

1616 would be my choice although I feel 616 would go well with most straps
