Its a home run in my books. Perfect size at 39mm. Perfect dynamic bleu dial. Perfect case material. Movement is a work of art. Relatively "rare".
What I love most is that 99.99% of the world doesn't know how special the watch is and the fact that it can be worn daily and aggressively without having to worry about scuffs. By far the best watch I have ever owned. |

A solid keeper in my book. It’s a fantastic watch that’s beautiful and super well executed. A bonus is that it’s wonderfully under the radar to everyone but watch people.
Do you have one or are you picking one up? |

For sure keep it. I have one and couldn’t in a million years end up selling it. It’s one of a handful of pieces i know that are magical. The size/thinness , rare metal, rare dial, full gold movement ... from an independent manufacture at the top of its game who makes ~800 watches / year , now ~50 CBs / year .... so many reasons not to let this go if you aren’t in financial need.

I enjoy the heck out of it, dresses up or down with ease. I put a deployant on mine (pictures are on timezone's FPJ forum, forget if I posted them here).

I have one and think it’s a great piece. Not sure I’d pay the current gray market prices which may push me into the range of other Journe pieces - but it’s a special piece amongst a special brand.

I'm selling my SS nautilus to my brother to cover the costs of this piece, not torn about the decision my brother gets a deal considering the market right now and I get a watch I enjoy genuinely enjoy wearing.

It's a very very solid choice. I like your taste in watches. I would say it complements a Rolex too as a dress watch.

if u can find one in the 30's...anywhere in the 30's...i'd recommend you jump on it without hesitation. even though that's well above retail, i believe these are heading up even further given the extremely low production volume (i understand it's coming down even lower for 2020), not to mention the fact that it's an absolutely amazing piece.

Service costs are eye watering. Make Patek service a relative bargain in comparison.

This a fantastic piece. I've played with the CS before, and the movement is to die for. I assume the CB dial is fantastic as well. It's out of my budget, but I would be more than happy to add one someday.
Please enjoy - you've joined a very select club and getting a watch from a whimsical rockstar madman watchmaker is certainly cause for celebration. |

So update on the sale, seller backed out due to accepting a higher offer. Not really professional kind of bummed me out. Still selling my nautilus to my brother on the hunt for this watch now

FYI make sure the seller checks out, when I was looking for mine, I encountered more than a few scams related to this watch.

Yes it was kind of odd had everything confirmed was even paying for his flight to meet me, then as we're approaching sale day he cancels said another buyer offered more locally.

I have this watch for year now, it is a lovely watch, I wear it quite often, it is quite a low profile watch, not much recognised outside connoisseurs. The dial is magic, the movement beautiful, quite accurate at +2s/d. You can’t go wrong with a Journe in general and a CB in particular.
I am wearing it it actually. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Just those white hands bother me. The Souverain's darker ones look better to me.

This is my next watch. I absolutely love it. Unfortunately I’ll have to pay a premium above retail because the waiting lists are closed. When the time comes, ideally I’d like to get one from a private seller so I can at least get it for close to what the dealers are paying, and avoid dealer markup. Looking forward to one day owning the watch. Not looking forward to paying the extra premium. Oy!

Each to their own but I prefer the CS which I think is more interesting. I owned the CB for 4 months and quickly bored of it
