Any off beaten dealers to source, original unmolested vintage pieces?

I have a good knowledge of where to source modern references, but what are some good sources to get vintages pieces?

Would love an original vintage 1950s reference that I can place on aftermarket leather strap?

Any recommendations on styles?

Tudor or Rolex.

The hunt is part of the fun!

It took me years to find certain unpolished pieces....
You can’t go wrong with a DJ, a DD or OP but it is gonna be hard to find good ones from the ‘50s. The good ones are gonna be expensive.

Better off with looking for late ‘60s, early ‘70s. More chances to find a good one and the appearance is more or less the same as the ‘50s models.

Great thanks. I like the slim, smaller dress watches the simply have an understated expression of refined taste.
