YM links vs. GMIIc links
Hopefully someone can help me with this question. Are the links different for a ss/p YM, than for the ss GMTIIc?
I ordered an extra link for the YM and when I installed it there were sleeves for the center links that must be placed before putting in the screw-pin. I also ordered an extra link for the GMT and while installing that just a bit ago I noticed that there were no sleeves for the center pin, either in the one I released or in the added new one sealed in the rolex package. I'm just curious. I know the clasps are different, but the links looked identical with their polished center pieces. Thanks for any information. Regards, Pete |

Moonwatch
Thanks for the information. I am now perplexed about no sleeves in the GMT.
The moonwatch is an Omega Speedmaster 20th Anniversary moonwatch. Sorry for any confusion. Thanks again for your help. Pete |

Must be yet another update to those solid-linked Oyster bracelets then. I have not yet had the courage (nor the necessity) to add or remove any links on the bracelet of my SS Cos.

More info on YM links versus GMTIIc links
Bo, you're always so helpful to everyone that I took the YM apart to show you the sleeves. While I had the bracelet apart I put the screwpin into the center link hole. There was a lot of play. Hence the sleeves, I guess. There was no play when doing the same thing to the center link hole of the GMT.
Thanks. Pete |

That was a nice gesture of you, Pete!
Thanks for the pic! I would have liked to have added that in my review of the SS Cos.
