I own both. The BLNR was my first then I got the SubC. The GMT function is a very handy complication and I use it often. I travel a ton for work and have multi country project meetings and while I can figure out the times without it, it's great to be able to track several timezones. I for sure use that more than 300M water resistance. With that being said I do use the timing bezel on the SubC.

It's always a hard choice, but for me I always recommend to add and not replace. They truly are a great pair and between the two the BLNR gets more wrist action, but it sounds like you don't need the GMT function. I would let it ride for a bit and in a few months when you have a bit more saved, see if you still want the BLNR and then add it.

Both are great watches and there's no wrong choice. You have to figure out which one you like best. Only way to take care of that itch is to scratch it sometimes

I would keep what you have. I think the 114060 is a great watch and has a perfectly balanced dial. I would go look at the options from Tudor and add a second watch or you could add a Omega Speed Master. It is easy to get caught up in the hype and great pictures on TRF.

Sounds like you’ve made your mind up.

You can’t really go wrong because if you end up with buyer’s remorse, you won’t lose much money on a BLNR and you should be able to reacquire the Sub easy enough.

One thing I will say though: there is nothing ‘unique’ about the BLNR. It’s a great piece but most definitely not unique.

I've had both at the same time. Kept the 114060. It's perfect.

I did replace the BLNR with a LN, though. I didn't like the bat. The 114060 is the watch I want to be able to keep forever.

BLNR. Flip Sub if you have to, an equivalent or replacement will always be available, while the BLNR is more unique. BLNR really presents zero compromises and a watch that generates one of the least amount of dissenting WIS voices in terms of a buy. Bought it and would buy it again in a heartbeat. Sub is a classic and needs to be in any serious collection, but production volume and status as a classic suggests you can get one again when you want to.

Sell the 114060 privately to earn a few $$$ more then try to find the BLNR new at an out-of-state AD that can ship. Saves you on taxes.
