A Tudor Black Bay ETA and a Ceramic Submariner are nearly identical in thickness.

I guess they are similar thickness since the back case of the sub protrudes more but the actually case difference is staggering. Also the BB is 41mm but seems bigger. Photos don't lies.

Its a beautiful watch but hate the thickness. I wish they used the new BB fifty eight case. that one is lovely.

The ETA version is the same as a Sub. The in house is thicker.

I really like it. I just have a hard time justifying buying it because I have a Pepsi Rolex already.

But it is shades of the 6542 which is price wise untouchable.

Anyone know if this rivet bracelet is solid or hollow. This watch would be perfect with a normal bracelet, this rivet thing is not my cup of tea, but I understand the connection. Just took the vintage thing to far, lol.
This watch is incredible and so is the BB Black.
Tudor is batting .95, rivet bracelets....why man, why.

Thank you. At least that's a good thing. A noisy hollow bracelet would have killed that option for me.

I wrote in another thread that I didn't like the thickness. Why does a GMT watch need to be thicker than some dive watches (i.e. the Sub C, THE Black Bay 58)?

GMTs usually are thinner.

Ding! Ding! Ding! I guess I don't understand the visual appeal of a thick watch on the wrist. A watch ( even a sports model) that sits lower and hugs the wrist always looks waaay better IMO.

I wish it had drilled lug holes, that would complete the vintage feel for me. And the faux rivets look terrible on the bracelet, I would save a few hundred and get it on the strap, since I would throw it on a NATO anyways... except then it would be almost 17mm tall.

Close, but no cigar for me...

This picture says it all... sides are poorly designed, the watch seems a brick compared to rolex sub, imho

So it's the movement that makes this watch so thick?

It would have been perfect if it was like the BB 1958.

Love the BB GMT. But I'll probably get the BB58 just because it's smaller.

Ablogtowatch seems to think they still give cloth as secondary but I’m not so sure, Tudor web seems to imply it’s not given and is a third choice. Kinda petty

I’m hoping that it comes with the nato/cloth strap as secondary. I haven’t seen a price any where for it on the cloth on its own, so hoping this is the case.

I stand corrected, looks like you can buy it on fabric.....but at the same price as being on leather!
