It's a beautiful watch that definitely matches up perfectly with your bike.....but would you really wear that watch whilst riding your bike?

Nice watch Sparticus and welcome to the SUB Club, the Blue Sub is such a classic. Nice bike too - how does it compare to the Hayabusa?

Well compared to the hayabusa it is like chalk and cheese they both produce about 175 bhp but my bike is like a little 600 it only weighs 162kg or 356 pounds the busa weighs in at a hefty 217kg or about 420 pounds.

Yes jj good point i dont think i will wear it while riding!

Wear it on the bike! not a big deal. I have worn mine while riding for years without a problem and i know the harley vibrates more than the sportbike.

Do what I did, treat it like a part time job. I collected any and everything of value that I no longer used or was interested in, sold it on e-bay/craigs list, fixed PC's and setup HDTV's for my friends and kept the money in my ING savings until I had accumulated enough to pay cash for it. Took me about 6 months, would have been less if we didn't have to replace my wifes car unexpectedly

Nice watch, nice bike. Do not see any problem with wearing it while you ride.

I love the blue sub. Borrowed my friends (we swapped, he borrowed my daytona) and it is such a stunning watch. Too bad it looks terrible on me. I just don't have the skin color for the yellow gold...darn it. That dial so special.

Wear it in good health.

Very nice combination Sparticas. I really like the blue sub. Although mine doesnt match with my bike, I still wear it when riding.

Thanks Sparticas, I love this bike. It has almost everything that you can think of. The power, the beauty and the style.
I have not seen the 848 yet. But the dealership I go to, will have it in about a week. The 848 has the same style as 1098's. The only diff is the engine. 848's has lot of power too. They will come with the pearl white color which is nice.

Hi guys,

Yes, very nice bikes. I had a ride on a Suzuki GSX-R last month. Very very quick.

Your 1098 looks like it has Showa on the front, which model is that?

All Ducatis come with Brembo calipers and the standard model, non 'S' model doesn't have Ohlins suspension only the S model and Tricolour do :).

Nice duo with the watch and bike, my SS GMT doesn't go too well with mine :(

The new models for Ducati doesnt come with Showa or Tokiko brakes. They are all Brembo brakes.
Even my old 749 has the Brembo brakes, but the 1098's has the most stoping power so far.
