For all of the TT and gold plated owners, how has the gold plating held up over time?

recently got my end links for my 216750 from george and they are beautifully made. however, i've had a hell of a time trying to fit my custom gunny straps. managed to get the 6-o'clock end done (rather luckily) after a good half our of trying to get the spring bar ends into place. the 12-o'clock end is being difficult for now because i can't seem to slide one end of the spring bar into place. every time i think i hear it click into place turns out that it only managed to slip out of place and i have to have a go at it again. really frustrating. but george's product is really top notch! gunny's too!

Thinking about getting a set of these for my 16610. Would they work with a NATO strap?

It should work on your 16610; anyway ask George (Smartyjones18) and he should be able to confirm that

Smarty End Links+Tudor Strap+Explorer 216570 = Very Cool!

I knew of Smarty End Links but never tried them until I used the Tudor NATO strap. Here is the Explorer II 216570 with the Tudor strap.

The end links complete the watch and make the strap appear an integral component of the watch.

I did notice a slight gap between the end link and the case, but it is very minimal. The end link fits well and does not move around. The end link seems made for the Tudor strap. Neither the strap or the end link are impleaded by the thickness of the Tudor strap and installation was a breeze.

I have larger images posted over at https://www.minus4plus6.com/cool.php#smarty

All a great combination!

-Sheldon

Alternative to Etur's Endlinks

I had purchased 2 pairs of endlinks from Smartyjones18 (George) for my Daytona and my Datejust and both sets work like a charm; highly recommended !

Hi all. Newbie here (but not new to Rollies). Forgive me for reviving this old thread but I think it's a bit OTT to start an entirely new thread, just for this. Thanks to this forum, in particular the general thread about endlinks, this thread and inspired by Shaunzeng's old thread with his TOG with etur endlinks and perforated leather rally strap, I finally took the plunge and ordered some from George. For quite some time, I have struggled (wish I knew about this forum earlier!) to find the option oyster bracelet (ref. 72200/72600) to replace the super jubilee that came on my 116264 TOG (which is now looking awesome on my GMT Master II and won't be coming off any time soon 😛). While I keep looking for the bracelet, I decided to try some endlinks as no strap seemed to ever look right on the TOG - I'm now a happy camper and in less of hurry to find the bracelet 😊

Still waiting for a perforated leather rally strap (like Shaun's) for a sportier look but already loving the less formal look on a strap.

I must add that George was most helpful and went out of his way to ensure I was properly looked after - many thanks George! 👍:

Hello Watchfreek, your TOG looks awesome with those links. I also have a DJ 116264 TOG and I'm looking at getting links also. I looked on George's website (smartyendlinks) but he doesn't seem to have links for DJ 116264 TOG. Which one's did you get that fit your DJ 116264 TOG?

New member - first post and WOW! - looks like I found the Holy Grail for end links!

Wanted my Daytona on leather, but really not feeling the love for it with the gaps. Order placed with George today and I can't wait to share the 'after' shot!

Thanks George!!

So sorry for the late reply Vin - for some reason I didn't get notified of your post. George is very knowledgeable and helpful. Just message him and tell him you need the end links for your particular watch and he'll let you know which is the compatible one to order - he was very responsive, even on a Sunday (that's what I did but I've deleted my correspondences with him and my order history has been wiped out by now unfortunately). Good luck and do post photos of the combo you've ended up with. Hope I'm not too late.
