Well, for now smartylinks and smartlinks leading the race...
Honestly I wouldn't take credit for it, i prefer elinks or even eturlinks if Eugene doesn't gets offended. Some updates, I redo the drawing so all dimensions are now more precise, should do well this weekend, pretty confident. Cheers George |

Hello all , I am still alive!!!
I am apologies for not responding to all of you. I am going thru some personal issues and cannot produce them at current time . I was planning to re-start production as soon as I will find place where I can move my equipment but looks like I will be late to the game…. |

My suggestions
DzinerLinks or TrendLinks or HauteLinks (like in Haute Couture)

Thank you George. What about call them after the original inventor hmmm... me? This is completely in line with the Russian naming tradition like AK47, MIG-29 etc... so ET-Links will be ok with me... |

I think your efforts are looking good - and in a while you'll have the issues sorted.
I also think your series of progress reports serve as a good lesson to those who think craftsmanship comes cheap. The hours of work, cost of materials and tools, etc. all need to be recovered in the price for the final product(s) + a decent profit to reinvest in more design work for more models. Congrats on getting this far this fast!

I hope you make them in 18kt Gold. There are a ton of older Day Dates on straps and the SmartLinks would look great on these watches.

There are also millions of vintage DJs, both SS and TT, whose owners have worn out their bracelets. They are currently using straps and would also be a good market.

Wasn't Rolex the original inventor? Maybe copylink would be a better name? |

DSSD End Links
I know you're early in the process, but end links for a Deepsea would be fantastic!

I'd call them Strap-Links or Leather-Links. I am not sure What makes them Smart (or Smarty)

spent the entire morning at the workshop and produce some nice stuffs, not perfect yet but I would rate around 95%. still has defects, but at least it fits in nicely and the feeling was really good. tomorrow I'll concentrate the aesthetic portion, currently the edges are sharp. The top piece of the first picture is Etur's, the rest are mine

Looks like you've about nailed it, great work. Once you're at 100% you'll be swamped with PM's for orders. Great job!
