Is the price run up on these watches real or is it more speculative? I would love to buy one but I don't want to overpay for these......

Real deal. Not many exist. Just make sure you get one with box and papers.

Do you think the Blue and the Burgundy will follow suit?

This is crazy. Just pure crazy. Have a buddy that has a brand new stickered up one sitting in his safe. The speculation is rampant right now.

Eventually they will go up some but not like the black. The Black was a fluke. The blue and burgundy existed in production for years. Black for only a few months.

I’ve been wearing mine but I do refuse to change straps or take it into water.

I have one and love it. It seems like a keeper to me. Sounds like an interesting opportunity. You can always order a steel bracelet after the fact.

and I have two, with steel bracelet and strap leather, we must remember, that on the warranty card, if it is original with leather strap or with bracelet 95740, I mean with this, that at the collector's level they are two different models.

Try to find another one anywhere? My AD contact had his own personal one he bought when it was the last one they had. He decided to move it and ended up getting over msrp. Now it was new, stickered up but that is insane.

I agree with you-Finding one is impossible. I assumed $5,000 was possible maybe in 6 months but this soon-wow!

Well, this is all very exciting indeed. I've had mine since late 2015 and still in mint condition. They were actually kinda hard to get initially and I was just lucky they happen to have one when I came into my AD near Christmas. Surprised when they discontinued after just 5 months and I've seen unconfirmed production numbers of under 3000. It's one of my favorites and a beautiful blend of design elements giving a sweet vintage feel. The blue and red are nice too, just happens they made less black. Tudor rose and smiley face give a nice connection with Tudor heritage. ETA movement very nice too. So if you got one then hang on to it! Cheers!

Well... I thought $5,000 by summer but that prediction lasted what? 1 Day.
