Which watch for Maldives

So I am going to the Maldives next week to celebrate my 50th Birthday and debating which watch to take along. I will only take one and its come down to one of these two. I would be interested to hear which one you would pick.

It's what it was designed for!

You're travelling across timezones. Surely the BLNR?

Are you you going to be diving?

I love the turtle shell look of the Patek, I would go with that one. The man who wears it is relaxed

BLNR is more robust and GMT function. seems logical, but hell man you only turn 50 once, bring both.

Clear choice, the Aquanaut... Everyone else and his brother will be wearing a Rolex sports watch of some sort.

Yep - go the Aquanaut... enjoy the Maldives, one of my favourite places for a relaxing holiday....especially "Ihuru Island"... they have the best "house reef" for snorkelling.

cheers

Aquanaut. If you need to know the time back home just keep it set to home time and refer to your phone as it should be updated to local time. Maldives is beautiful and you will be glad you got to take pictures of your aquanaut with some gorgeous backdrops. Your future self will appreciate the memories in the future

Neither. If you’re concerned about what time it is when in the Maldives you’re doing something wrong

Agree . I would buy a diver's watch for the trip and your 50th.
That way.you can go in the water all you want and call it ur travelling watch. Have fun out there.

Take both. GMT for the travel and the Aqua for the beach! Problem solved!

Take the Blue BLNR to one of the most magical restaurants in the world, Ithaa.

BLNR if you're active and enjoy doing many incredible outdoor activities while there, the Patek Aqua if you prefer relaxation and not doing much. Of course if you want major dings and scratches on the fragile Patek bezel.... Your call.
