Incoming 16710 Pepsi
Have been hankering after one of these for ages to go with my 16610LV. I did have a 116710LN previously but the maxi cases don’t really float my boat despite the wonderful build quality. In general I was put off by the prices but I stumbled across a z serial, full set inc both tags, 2 Rolex service cards (last one in jan 2018) at a price too good to miss. Is a stick dial too, which I like, so am a member at last of the Pepsi club.
I’ll be letting go some watches I think, as this takes me up to 5 and I don’t want them sitting around doing nothing, esp as I can imagine this and the LV getting the majority of my time. Anyway, some pics. Cheers..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Well done, mate!
There will never be another Rolex made with the ability to change bezel inserts and bracelets creating multiple options from one reference. dP

And it was less than Ł7k. I can’t quite believe it really.
I’m sure there must be something wrong with it when equivalent pieces are going for 8.5 to 9 k.... |

Believe it or not I got it from watchfinder. It was a pre web watch sat in the counter. I only tried it on as a comparison to another and couldnt get my wallet out quick enough when they said the price.
My Wife and I reckon I may have got the bought price given an exact same black is 8.5k. Either way I am happy, it is paid for and in my possession. |

Amazing! The 16710 (no holes) is one of my all-time favs. The proportions are perfect. Congrats a great find!

Congrats. Not that it makes a difference, but does the LN after the model number mean it originally had an all-black bezel?
Since it just had service two months ago, I wonder if you could find out what all was done to it. Anything replaced, etc? Would just be interesting to know. |
