Dressier for sure.

It's not for me as I like my sports watches on sports bracelets, not dress bracelets like the Jubilee.

Agree. GMT looks better on an oyster bracelet.

I prefer the crown lock but did not see that on the new pepsi on Rolex web page but I hope that will be an option.

Neither are dressy per se, but the BLNR would look better in suits. two many colors and too much going on with the Pepsi to be formal. It's a sporty watch that would look better in jeans and jordans vs tie and broguing.

The Jubilee alone makes it far more dressy IMO.

This poll is really kind of loaded/biased in nature, without adding a relevant question that it is not. Kind of like someone only posting " The new Pepsi is too blingy" and the "The new Pepsi is too showy" and thereby limiting response and opinion. Suggest that a contrary element is added.

I agree with the color mixing comment. A 116710LN on a jubilee would be dressier than a BLRO or BLNR on a jubilee.

Is the new Pepsi dressier or sportier than the BLNR?

Maybe I’m just old school, but a true dress watch, to me, has a leather strap.

Just my .02

(Neither is dressier than the other)

Well concealed clasps on the jubilee will soon be a thing of the past. The new TT Datejust 36s have gotten rid of it in favor the the same clasp on the 41s. I’m sure the SS models will have the same fate next year. Sad to see it go since it’s very elegant and I was waiting for it to show up on the SS Datejust 41s but this will definitely not happen now.

While Rolex clasps don’t tend to fail or open by themselves, a flip lock is really a must for a sports watch. It gives the wearer ultimate confidence that the clasp will not open while in the ocean or doing whatever activity. I would never go swimming in the ocean with my DD for example. I’m sure many people do but why take the risk?

The GMT is a pilot's watch. What's that got to do with sports anything? I fail to see any contradiction like a leather strap on a diver.

I may be wrong but I see the jubilee as a dressy bracelet and a contradiction with sports/profesional models. Just my 2cs.

Even if you think a SS bracelet is "dressy", throughout my career as a pilot, on the job I've either worn a uniform or some other type of "dressy" clothes, so I'm still failing to see where the contradiction is. I'm not going diving or spelunking with it, so it doesn't have to always have the finish of a hammer. It's special function is to display more than one time zone at a time, that's it, and there is nothing in displaying different time zones that automatically means it must conform to something that looks "right" according to a Sub-centric point of view.

The GMT Master was derived from the Datejust Turn-O-Graph, so a Jubilee bracelet is as naturally-occurring on a GMT Master as it's cyclops and date, which it has always had.

If you want a contradiction, the Sub with an added date and cyclops is a much better example.

dressier... not a dress watch so thats a big difference.

No way you can say a jubilee is more casual than an oyster bracelet IMO.

BLRO is not as sporty as the BLNR. I say it is dressier yes. I agree with Tyler above on what he says about the bracelet.

It's pretty much the same...

If my AD ever actually gives me the opportunity to buy the one of these (went to them in person 2x before the 3/22 and they took my info down) Ill tell you from experience...but based on just common sense there is minimal differences to justify any sort of distinction whether one is more sporty than the other.

The GMT is intended to be a pilots tool watch, that's it.

In my opinion, a watch with colour struggles to be a dressy watch. I love colour, but I think it indicates casualness and sportiness, regardless of brand, function, heritage, whatever.
