Anyone looking forward to getting the BB58

I’m going to get the BB58 in around July when it comes it. From the reports I have seen, it wears very similar to the 14060 and has all the modern traits.

What I like about it though is how it floats under the radar. While I enjoy the Sub, Daytona and BLNR (dad now has!) there is something really cool about having a watch that only enthusiasts really understand.

Say with a client and all they stare at is the Sub or the Daytona it can be a tad uncomfortable so I am really looking forward to this one.

My aim to to wear it on leather/strap etc and even though the Pepsi x2 have taken the limelight I am genuinely excited by this one.

My concern is they bring it out the with red bezel, which I prefer, but I think I’ll just have both if they do.

I think the Sub is on its way out as I haves scratched that itch and feel modern and new is what in prefer in Rolex.

I am interested in this one as well. I only wish they would have had lugholes on the case to give it more of the 'vintage' feel

not sure

i have BBN ETA version and the 41mm fits fine on my wrist. I also have SD4K, so it just seems i would have too many very similar divers

and i have a "green" incoming on the way (not necessarily Rolex) and its a diver too

Is the dial just a little off for anybody else? Case proportions are amazing and what I've always wanted in a Black Bay, but the dial just looks so busy compared to the original model. Not sure about the gold numerals and markers on the bezel, either.

Already own the S&G so I'll be waiting for the blue bezel and white/silver text/logo/indices version.

They'd have been well served to launch that from the get go - anyone who already owns a 41 in black or S&G is going to have a hard time justifying this one right now.

Absolutely! It's the star of Baselworld in my opinion. I think I might pick one up over a 114060...

Yes! Strong consideration on the strap. Will give me a very unique piece that wears like the 14060, and the cost savings will go to a Super Jubilee for my 16710. I'm very excited for this year!

I agree on the lugholes, a real shame that.

Yes, or even at 41mm but same thickness.

I like it a lot, but I think my 14060M fills that niche and, of course, I have my BB36.

That would be a great addition to the OP's line-up. I also love the stated proportions of it and can't wait to try it in the metal.

I echo earlier comments - lug holes and the Pepsi in this variation (without snowflake GMT hand) would have me double interested!

I think the BB39 is a lovely looking thing - in my eyes an Oyster Perpetual killer and massive Explorer1 threat!

Anyone looking forward to getting the BB58

I own the BBN ETA and it’s hard to justify for me though I’m tempted to try it on once at my AD. Although the ETA is 41 and fits me nicely, when compared to my 42mm Omega PO (2500D), the BBN wears bigger.

The BB58 is only 0.8mm thinner than the original ETA version. Doesn’t have the rose and smiley and not so sure about the guilt bezel!

The question for me is not so much getting the new BB58 it shall I flip my BBN ETA - I hate hoarding watches lol.
