First Panerai for my buddy
A friend went to look at a 1/500 limited edition blue faced and blue strap Panerai at the local dealer. He decided against it after speaking with a coworker that said he never buys Panerai watches at full price. Any specific sellers that have solid prices and deliver great watches? Thanks

From what people have been saying, boutiques and ADs typically do not discount, especially on sought-after models. But a free strap or two should be possible.
Otherwise, maybe reputable grey dealers might be able to save your friend some cash on a lightly used model. The most important thing is to get the Panerai on your friend’s wrist. |

Thanks for the reply. There is no go to preowned super solid dealer that the Panerai buyers use that choose to not go the brand new route at AD?

Well, I went with DavidSW back in 2011 for my Panerai. He’s still considered to be a “trusted seller” on this forum. Maybe he can help.

I wouldn't expect a boutique to discount. I would think it would be possible at an AD through. I'm currently looking for my first PAM as well, so interested in what kind od responses you get.
