Oris TT3 Ltd Ed a good one??

Does anyone have any experience with the Oris TT3 Limited editon chronograph? Have been looking at one, the price is right and I wanted to know anyone else's experiences with it before maybe buying. It sure is a good-looking watch. Thanks, Gary

I am not for sure if it is a grand prix. I only know it by TT3 Limited edition. The retail on the net is $3000. My local Costco is selling it for $1699 It has the rubber band with deployment clasp, black carbon fiber dial, titanium case and clasp. It does not have a separate sub seconds dial, just a totalizer for minutes & hours along with the date at 6 o'clock. The totalizers are situated at 12 & 6 o'clock. Now that I think about it, it is an auto racing watch--maybe it is a grand prix

Just to clarify. It is NOT the grand prix. It is called the TT3 Titan Chronograph Limited edition. I just double checked.

I say go for it.

It's a fine modern design for the price of a Rolex bracelet.

The dial configuration is similar to the IWC 3714, I wonder if it uses the same ETA base movement?
