Bell and Ross?
Anybody have any experience with a Bell and Ross...The one called "Instrument "
It think their pretty good looking. Opinions? Just might be a change from beating up my Rollie all day. |

I have the BR01-92 which is the 46mm version without complications. Its a great watch especially when on the nylon strap which makes more sense than the calfskin. The watch is quite thin, so it wears smaller than you might think. Overall, I'm happy with it, but if I could complain about anything, it is the lackluster lume.

By that i think Thani means that it should be in another section not rolex general discussion.
I had a Bell & Ross it was the Type Demineur bomb disposal model. 39mm round case- so not really what your talking about but it was very good quality the only problem it was a quartz movement which is why i flipped it. They are definitely good quality though.

that's a nice looking watch, now if they could just align the screws on the front i'd like it better.

I think they are kinda cool, but what a statement. Friend has one, tried it on but not a daily wearer. JMO.

I can't really understand the appeal, personally. It just looks so cheap - like it might cost a tenner down the local market or something! I certainly don't mean to offend anyone, everyone likes different things, and perhaps like Panerai it'll grow on me.

I was very suprised to see the prices...More than many Rollies...They are a new company and it seems that Form is following supposed function as they are kind of "SPACE" oriented, flying/pilot orientation like the gauges in a plane...Just like the U-BOAT which is supposed to resemble gauges in a WWII sub. Kind of different look ,very noticeable as to brand when you see one. Very easy to read...easier than my GMT actually...

I was just looking at them in the store myself the other day.
Very unique BUT just does not do it for me at that price. They are a fairly new company and to me have a long way to go before their watches are worth what they are charging (thats just to me). I do have a few friends with them and they are all very happy. I think they are truly a novelty watch UNLESS you are a Pilot If you are getting one I hope you have BIG wrists! If you do it will be quite a looker!

That exact watch was in my top 5 when I was out browsing, but I would have had to go all the way to Toronto just to try one on, 2 hours there, 2 hours back, gas, etc, so I've not gone to try one...yet anyways.

I suppose like Panerai, just seeing them more and more, I took a liking to them. I think seeing it in person did it for me though, and trying it on.
