Misasligned dial on new SRP777 Turtle

It looks to me like the dial on my new Turtle is misaligned. Look at the 12 o clock indeces on the dial and then compare itntobthenoutrr right, it is offset to the right. Am I seeing things here or is this misaligned?

I agree it’s a bit off center

Wait, I think we need one more picture to be sure

My father would tell me a man running for his life would never notice. For us, it's the only thing we'd notice.

Yup, send 'er back.

It's a known Seiko problem. It's actually the chapter ring/rehaut.

Honestly, that one looks totally fine to me, compared to many others I've seen. My MarineMaster 300 (SBDX017) is about that far off, but I don't even notice it anymore. You might be able to send it back to whomever you bought it from, but it's well within Seiko QC specs.

I suggest enjoying the watch and wearing it often. If it totally bugs you and you lose your interest in it, sell it.

You’re right, it is slightly off. However, you may never find a perfect one. I’d only return it if that imperfection makes you not want to own that model at all. I’ve got a Seiko that’s off more than that, but to me, it’s better than not having the watch at all. I’m not saying you should just accept it, but what you’re looking for may not even exist out there.

It wouldn't bother me, but having read your other thread on this watch and this thread. It doesn't look like you will be happy with this watch. Send it back and be done with it.

Buy one locally at Macy's (if you are near one). You can inspect it before buying.

I just bought the last one at Walmart for $250.00 and free shipping plus 5% cashback from Ebates so I saves an additional $12.50.

One of the best bang for the buck watches. Hopefully everything will align, lol.

That's why I will recommend once agin... buy this one in person. I bought mine at a local Macy's...The one they had on display was slightly off, but I asked if they had others under the counter. They did. It was perfect. That made me even happier about the deal I got...I have been wearing it all summer and it brings me joy.
