Is this rolex real or fake please help!

I got this from my uncle like 2 years ago, back then i didnt care about watches i knew it was a rolex so i just put it in my drawer for over a year, at graduation i wore it and this group of kids tried to beat me up for it, thats when i realized how much its worth, i asked my mom she said its a replica, my dad and aunt say its real, so please help i will provide pictures with links. and if you could provide me wit ha model name etc it would be great !

Might even be a ldies watch the wrist thing is small for my hand

In the dial it says ROLEX -oyster perpetual -datejust -superlative chronometer -Oficially Certified -Tswiss -MADE T (inside the dial has a blue background)

The bands say rolex in some neat cool design 2 of these and has 1 crown logo, and the opposite end of the band says Registered swiss made - D12 - Steel inox - 62523h-18

the back case is really cool looking, made of glass or quarts or some kind of clear element and says STAINLESS STELL BACKO DEVILLE SWISS MADE around it, and the middle says Rolex wit hthe crown, inside the back is where its neat, it has this gold thing and it says ROLEX with the crown and around it has rolex all over very neatly.

They are not the best pictures I have ever looked at, really blurry.

I can tell you without a doubt that its a fake just by looking at the date. Its off somehow, wether its the size of the date window or the magnification, something is off.

The crown looks odd at the 12 0'clock. You will never see a Rolex with the hash marks appearing inbetween the prongs of the crown. and actually the crown looks bigger than it should, again with the pictures, its hard to tell for sure.

Heres a better pic of my DJ

Notice the crown up top... date magnification...

without looking at anyother pic, thats how I know its a fake.

In one of the other pictures that show the caseback, I have never seen a Rolex movement that looked like that

the lettering ROLEX Oyster perp. Datejust should be higher on the face

It even seems as though the date markers do not align correctly, but that may be the quality of the pictures

thing is i dont knwo if its a ladies model or something maybe thats why its diff, i cant take good pics wit hthe camera its not a good cam, and the magnification thing has a big scratch on it so it looks off, and tbh your corwn and mine look exactly the same size i just looked at the watch, why wud the fake have a date engraved perfectly with a litttle crown sign beside it.

Peter and most of the members here on TRF have looked at thousands of non-authentic watches. Even with the poor quality of photos you posted, there are signs that identify an authentic Rolex as opposed to a "replica".

Welcome to TRF. Browse through our thousands of pages of threads and posts. Pretty soon, you will see how it is possible to spot a fake watch.

It doesn't appear to be a lady's watch. I would say it is a replica gent's watch. I recommend that you take it to a local jeweler that sells watches and have them check it out.

Stop with the pics. Follow my suggestion in post #13 above. Good luck!

There is so much wrong with that watch but Rolex don't make DJ watches with glass case backs

Sorry, but this is a fake. Rolex does not make clear case backs either. Please take it to a reputable jeweler for further confirmation if you need it.

Welcome to TRF.

You do not give up do you ? There is always a possibility to put on a clear case back . However as said above there is plenty else wrong withe the watch . You put that it has 62523h-18 on the clasp . You have there looks like an all SS oyster band .. NO WAY JOSE that the clasp can have 62523h-18 unless it is what it is FAKE . The clear case back shows marking that are NOT consistent with anything that Rolex produces. I have the feeling if you insist any longer with this , let alone post more pictures some moderators may take another decision . My advice would be to take it to your nearest RSC . Post us the out come ... I'll bet it will be entertaining

Its not a good fake at all. I have seen some fakes that it was sooooo hard to tell. The business of fakes have been moving away from a cheap 20 dollar to a cheap 800 replicas, and they are hard to tell the difference.

No need, take one if you want, Im sure more flaws will be pointed out with clear pics.

Like mentioned above, once you have seen thousand of replica's and even more of the real deal, you can tell within seconds if a watch is real or fake. The better the fake, the harder it is to spot, but something almost always gives it away.

Welcome to the forum, believe me, after a few months you will know what I'm talking about, you will be able to sniff them out from a mile away.

Yea, you CAN replace the Rolex caseback with an aftermarket crystal caseback, but that movement in your watch is not a ROLEX movement. Rolex movements are not ment to be shown off, they are not pretty (for the most part). They are workhorses, they are not in anyway aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and that is one of the reasons why they are ment to keep their SS casebacks.

The Rolex Datejust Fugazi edition. Sorry, As all the others have stated, it is clearly a replica. The case, movement, bracelet, and markings, are all wrong.

Wow, what kind of graduation leads to a potential assault and burglery of a knock-off watch?

Wouldn't that be something if the group of kids spent a night in jail (with the worst kind of offenders) all for a piece of scrap metal and plastic crystal?
