How does RSC remove scratches from a ceramic bezel?

Sent my 6 year old Sub Date to the Dallas RSC because the crown was difficult to pull out. I received the quote noting the Bezel, Bracelet and Case were scratched. While speaking with the lady in customer service (who could not have been nicer) I told her I had not noticed any scratches on the Bezel. She had my watch with her and looked at it with a loupe and said there were some small scratches on it. I was wondering how they remove these and if it could make it look worse? Thanks

I thought they just replace it. Its ceramic, there's no fixing it.

I think the only option is to replace the bezel assembly but I could be wrong

They polish the bezel, not the insert.

Ok .... So how much does a ceramic bezel cost? Has anyone had to have one replaced?

If you are happy with the current bezel & insert condition, can you just decline the replacement?
