Nice article. Thanks for posting. The 16550 cream defect dial version is one of my all time favorites.

Use the search function on top of the page. Type 16570 and you’ll find it.
Or this: https://timeandtidewatches.com/?s=16570 Great article BTW, enjoyed reading. Cheers! Fellow 16570 ‘polar’ owner Last edited by iealdrich; 2 June 2018 at 01:41 PM.. Reason: Link |

Hey there. Been looking to purchase a 16570 (Polar) for a while now. Went to Hatton Garden and offered £3800 for one, but he’d only budge to £3950. I’m not sure if it’s worth that. It’s a 2001 with lug holes, been polished once or twice but it still looks smooth. Papers come with. I’d say the condition is 8/10. Is this a fair price in your opinion, will I be overpaying? Shall I wait for another to come along at a cheaper price? Thanks in advance.

Ah, you’re putting me on the spot a bit here. I’m not well versed in watch values so I would feel bad about giving you incorrect advice. In my very amateur opinion, to me, a 16570 in good condition with box and papers should be worth around $5,500 - $6,000 CAD. That would be what I would pay for one. If the store still has it in a week you should check and see if he will take your offer. Money talks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
