Daytona caseback flatter?

The Daytona is my most comfortable Rolex. I’ve been looking for the reason(s).

I noticed that the caseback has a much larger flat surface (in contact with the wirst) than any other model (GMT, Submariner, Explorer, DayDate, Datejust, Yachmaster)

Can anybody confirm/infirm?

Yes, the Daytona caseback is thinner/flatter than the GMT and Sub.

The Daytona caseback uses the same tools as other Professional models, 29.5mm, but the "flat" is ground further across, as you noted.

The Sub backs are thicker and do sit noticeably higher, but the others are likely only a fraction of a mm higher because of this wider machined surface.

OP , do you own this watch? Have you bought the exact same watch which you have shown from the auction? If just referring to a General Daytona why show the Le Man Daytona. If you have done your research as you claim then why ask us... I said Fake thinking its your watch..

You shoot first and then you ask questions (once everyone on this thread called you out).

Yep, different references (SS, two-tone, etc.), and different engraving styles, depending on the specific endurance race/series, class, and year.

You clearly said 'My Daytona' and then put up a Le Man Daytona... So ofcourse I would assume its fake... Why not post your Daytona's photo when discussing... I wont say my Daytona and randomly upload a Rainbow Daytona.... Seriously ?!

"The" not "my" Daytona is what I said.

The
is a grammatical article in English, denoting persons or things already mentioned, under discussion, implied or otherwise presumed familiar to listeners or readers.

Happy to hear/talk more from you about the subject at heart about casebacks. Else,

Interesting.
But being English (as you may be too) the "THE" in the context you wrote gives implication as to being yours!
At best your post was misleading.
That said the photo posted is NOT fake
That's just a fact

Your characterization of my post is not accurate. I asked candid questions about Rolex casebacks to members seeking for answers.

If something is unclear. I'm happy to edit.

To me ambiguous, and a bit tricky.
Out of all the DAYTONA cases you choose one that is unique and highly fakes.

It matters not to me if you edit it - people can decide themselves

I am not aware that this particular Daytona is highly faked. What is your source on this?

I am adding an image from this source (not my watch): https://www.ablogtowatch.com/rolex-d...atch-review/3/

You moved my thread to "watch out". So it matters to you. If not, you would not have done so.
