Poll: 5164 plus Daytona 116500 or 5712
Inspired by the other 5712 poll thread, thought I'd put this up for fun as this is really a tough choice for me.

I absolutely love the 5712.
But in this case I’ll take the 5164 and Daytona

I like the 5164 and Daytona better. More versatile having these 2. I favor the 5711 over the 5712.

I’d go for the Aquanaut and the Daytona but only the white face version - the premium on this watch is crazy, Watchfinder had one on at £23,950 and it’s sold in less than a week.

The white face is really hard to get. No one has yet to sell me one. It’s pretty upsetting

If this was the entirety of my collection, I would say 5164 plus 500. If I had another Rolex in my collection, then 5712.

This is one of the few nautilus still climbing in a slightly softer environment...
I will bet this reference hits 150k by next Basel Don’t blow your wad and sell too early for anyone thinking about selling. It’s easy to sell but harder to be greedy... |

With an established relationship, the 5712 is easier to get from an AD than an Aquanaut or a 5711. I was offered one this year and passed on account of it doing little for me. Unless it's discontinued, I don't see it hitting $150,000.

I think I'd choose the 5712 if I didn't have a Nautilus but as I do, I do own the other two.

I forbid you to sell the 5164 Neil
If anything sell the daytona. I also forbid paying market rate on a 5712.

I can't deal with the asymmetry on the dial of the 5712 and it's like they threw a 5055 into a Nautilus case. In my humble opinion, the 5164 paired with a ceramic Daytona offers more variety. Question though: if the 5164 now sells for 50-60k and the Daytona can fetch as much as 25k, wouldn't you be able to trade it for a 5711? Unless, of course, you already own that watch
