Hopefully the redesign improves the clasp experience for the owners, perhaps there may be a low cost retrofit option for previous versions?

Thanks :)

The Salon in Beverly Hills rejuvenated my clasp by bending the two arms out again and making sure they're level with the thicker middle part. Aligns perfectly again and clicks into place. Feels like a new clasp

That would be fantastic if you don't mind. I'm still going to try to get the new deployant and want to be sure that it's going to fit the strap ends :)

Would a Patek salon be able to tighten the clasp or is this something that has to happen during service? Attachment 1017705Attachment 1017706Attachment 1017707

The clasp on this watch seems fine to me. You have to squeeze just right to open and that may be an issue. The rubber strap should afford considerable play so the buckle properly employed should not deform.
