1675 replaced luminous matte dial

Would you buy one of these with just the dial replaced? for say, usd 3.2k?

comes with original case, jubilee bracelet and insert. No b/p. service history unknown. Looks clean.

Yes I would, definitely at that price. Dials are out there and the prices are fairly reasonable. Also, the luminova dial has value to others that prefer their watch "light up" in the darkness. Based on the year of the watch, nice dials can be found from $500 to $1,000.

I consider any and all watches even broken for the right price. My advise is to figure out a price you are comfortable with and factor in what it would cost you to make it original if thats what you want. 80% of all watches in the wild are not original and have service parts.

If the hands are correct and you can get a very clean watch at a great price, I would consider it as you could take your time and source an original dial

Depends on what you want. If you want a beater I say go for it, but if you want an all original example I would pass.

I've had several vintage pieces over the years with luminova dials. If functionality is your goal then sure.

As mentioned they have merit for the right person and period correct parts can be had.

its a decent price if the rest of the watch is in good condition. these dials are not so rare or expensive that if you choose to replace it you will be out a lot of money

Sounds like a good deal to me, especially if the bracelet looks decent.
