Sooooo, I’m in Aruba right now, and picked up a medium Churchills, it’s really smooth, I like it. Lady said they are real Cuban cigars. $25 us, don’t know if that a tourist price, but she said that I can take up too 4 boxes to the states. 25 per box. I’m sure I can find them cheaper out side the strip, but is it worth bringing them back to the states? I’m a rookie smoker, so I still need to build up my tolerance, any suggestions of what I should do. Grab a few of each, if so, any recommendations since I’m here.

If you aren’t buying from an authorized Habanos retailer there is a 99.99 % they are fake. You can check the box codes here

Good point, I will check later today. Let’s assume they are legit, is it worth the effort to picking some up? If I was more experienced, I would at least make somewhat of a educated choice, but I’m not. My thought is I will put them away ( properly) then when I’m ready, pull one out here and there.

Assuming they are authentic I’d say pick up a box. You said you are a casual smoker so a box of 25 should last you a bit. What brands?

Here is a price list but I’m guessing they will be marked up

RyJ short Churchill’s are about $11 a cigar shipped to you- the downside is that if CBP snags it, it goes on their database and can affect your Global Entry/ trusted traveler programs.

For me, it is not worth $625 a box even if they are 10 yrs old, IMHO.

A couple of different Marca would be the way to go.
