That’s sweet! What a fantastic car, little rocket. Since you can’t drive it because you have no gas.....might as well take lots of pics inside and out for us!

Sweet! I almost bought an F82 M4, but used prices have gotten silly, so I figured for only the cost of a YG Daytona more, I could just get a new one. OK, a Daytona and a Submariner.

Two quick interior pics for you guys:

First, the seat. This is the base seat, not the "carbon fiber" racing seat that has a big ole' knob right in the middle where it doesn't need to be, and reports are that they are really great on the track but kind of hard to get in and out of when using the car like a regular person. It's got the Merino leather, with some suede trim. And yes, that badge lights up. Very comfortable, and very supportive.

The other shot is the dash, console, etc. My car has the carbon fiber trim option, which I think is stunning and suits the car very well. Natch I got the three pedal edition, which is down on power compared to the "competition" but honestly, it doesn't need any more power. This thing is a rocketship.

I bought it sight unseen, no test drive, no negotiation (well, maybe a little) and based purely on my desire to get another car with a manual transmission, which is becoming more and more difficult these days.

For those who don't recognize it, it is a BMW M4. The color is Brooklyn Grey.

I could have bought a new Rolex instead, but this is more fun and actually obtainable. LOL

It has a 473 horsepower sequential twin turbo inline 6 cylinder engine, six-speed manual transmission, carbon-fiber roof, and more gizmos than I can count. It actually rides quite nicely, great seats, typical BMW build quality and driving dynamics, except turned up to 11.

I can't drive it right now because I used up all the gas getting it home.
Wow man outstanding. I just picked up the 2021 M3 competition in Brooklyn gray. I think the color is incredible. I haven’t been able to drive it much because I have it in the shop getting a clear bra and ceramic coating done. I pick it up Friday.

Congratulations! Great car and color combo!! The M cars are stupid fast and I agree, not much difference between the base and the Competition model. Currently leasing an M5 and enjoying it a lot!

Love it! I know lots of people are not fans of the grill but it's grown on me. M3/4 is on my list for sure. Debating transmissions since the girlfriend doesn't drive manual.

I’ve read lots of complaints about the grille as well and it always seems to come from the same type of people. It comes from people who are emotionally or financially invested in the old style grille. Meanwhile sales of the new G80/G82 are far above the F80/F82 at this point. But who knows.

It's killing you, ain't it?

When I got the car home Tuesday, I drove it Wednesday but had to park it until Sunday when I finally found some gas.

Congrats on the M3!

As for the grill, it does give the car some presence in person, and it has grown on me. Yeah, I know, it can't grow much more, LOL.

I think the new grille looks awesome. I would’ve never dropped this much money on something I didn’t absolutely love. I love the old grille also don’t get me wrong. It just seems some men have a difficult time with change especially if they are emotionally or financially tied in to the previous model/type. No big deal man. This is the new style and it’s here to stay. I just hope they finally break into the computer so we can tune these things. This new S58 engine is capable of 1000 hp. It really is a mechanical wonder. Unfortunately we won’t have gas engines around for much longer.

We ran out of gas temporarily in Florida only because of panic buying. The pipe shut down theoretically didn’t even affect Florida because we get our gas from barges.

I don’t think he did but if you think so I’ll show you mine. It’s a work of art. Much better looking than the F80s grille. It needs all that room to cool off the new bad ass S58 engine.

It looks so much better in the US when you don't have to install a front licence plate
