I'm gonna say good, I am however conscious of my surroundings and a little low key.

Makes me feel satisfied and appreciative to wear such a fine timepiece. Rolex is synonymous with high quality and precision with an excellent heritage. It will also hold it's value reasonably well over time. Rolex gives you that great feeling when you put it on. Cheers!

Like part of a club...

How do you feel when wearing a Rolex?
Great question I think!

I feel like part of a club in wearing a Rolex and belonging to this "society" of aficionados. It seems that while the "general public" knows the brand, the knowledge of design innovations, levels of quality control, materials and production standards, etc... that are discussed on this forum regularly are not as well known.

Being among those who "know why" a Rolex is a such an amazing machine and wearing one makes me feel like a member of that club.

I feel grateful that I can afford certain things and proud at how I earned that privilege. I also know that at the end of the day it is a material possession and thus on the list of things I care about it is not #1. I love this hobby but care deeply about other things first.

Plus, it allows me to be on time to what seems like endless conference calls and meetings :)

I have always liked quality and have been wearing nothing but a Rolex for 35+ years ... so I don't think about it much.

Feeling grateful are the common words used here and my sentiments are the same. I think many of us are just quiet achievers, go about our business on a daily basis and it's a nice little reward to self when the time is right for one, in some cases two or three or more :)

With a bunch of friends of mine wearing Fossil, Casio and/or Timex...I feel awesome...discreetly. (But, don't tell them I said that.)

But, when my friend is wearing his Daytona or BLNR, I'm sometimes happier to see the watch again more than him. Is that normal?

Admittedly a bit self-conscious. It is a rather ostentatious display of wealth and a bold statement to make in these somewhat difficult times, but I bought it because I absolutely love it.

Whew. I thought I was the only one that doesn't have an out-of-body Rolex experience. I mean I like wearing it and all. But it's really just nice watch to me. It's not who I am or what I aspire to be.
