Me? Sub ND and Sea Dweller... both 5-digit references. Why? Prefer the shallower cases and really don't care for the cyclops.

I'm not a fan of the cyclops either. Much cleaner look on the Sea Dweller.

I'm not a huge fan of the cyclops either, but my ideal would either be 214270 and 116610LV or 214270 and 116600 ... I just want something with a little color now that I've got my Exp1.

If price is no object :

1. Platona
2. Platinum Day Date with ice blue face and Roman indices

Reasons - I love the Daytona as a casual watch and the platona is the ultimate incarnation of the Daytona. Day Date is the big daddy Rolex and platinum is my favourite metal. I'm not into the loud yellow PM watches - just not my style

On a realistic budget:

1. Ceramic Daytona SS white face
2. Date Just on Oyster bracelet with Roman numerals. I love white dials but maybe black dial here for variety. Fluted or smooth bezel - undecided.

The above covers both sport and dress and can be worn in almost any situation. I'm an auto enthusiast which is why I picked the Daytona (still waiting for my white dial Daytona C). I could easily substitute the Daytona with a SS Submariner Ceramic instead. This would pretty much cover everything in a two watch Rolex collection.

16660 matte dial, and 14060M four line gloss dial, cover all the bases for me.

This is the perfect pair for me. I struggled at first thinking they were too similar, but they fill completely different needs for me so I accept them both now.

For me it would be my SS Daytona C with the black dial and a WG Skydweller. I do think it's a bit "blingy" but hey, it's a Skydweller, so I would kind of want to bring some bling.

1.) early matte dial 16750 - because it's my favorite Rolex GMT and it's pseudo-vintage (early 80s); I also love the patina on the hour markers.

2.) Daytona C - white dial. Love the look and the movement (always loved the movement), but the C version has alleviated my only minor gripe with prior daytonas - the bezel, at least in my experience, gets beat to heck. Ceramic eliminates that concern. This spot could also be occupied by a SDC, but I would likely go Daytona if pushed.

One modern C and one pseudo-vintage, those are my choices.

I considered this pair but also felt these two where quite similar. I guess the BLNR works as a good dress up piece and the SD is a great daily.

Great choice. Can't go wrong with a DaytonaC and I really like the idea of having a vintage piece, especially if I could obtain a birth year one.

This is a supreme pair. A WG SkyDweller really does 'up' one's watch game 😎🙏
