For me it would be the platinum Day Date and the BLNR. All occasions covered......

Yep, exactly how I use them. BLNR and SDc are my perfect pair too.

I like the Sub (Hulk), SS Daytona or Explorer 1 or 2.

I have a 116500 and a 116600 - and that is my perfect pair.

Weirdly I prefer SS to PM models, and whilst the GMT once had a place in my collection, and the YM1 has always tempted me, I wouldn't give up either of my pair for another watch in the Rolex range!

Unless of course I could trade for a Milsub!! And then the Sea Dweller would have to find a new home!!

Sea-Dweller: the quintessential divers watch.
Datejust: the perfect watch.

I think the GMT II is one of Rolex best watches, and could easily substitute the Sea-Dweller.

Ask me 10 times and I'll give 10 different answers. Today it's a Platona and YG Sub with black dial.

Currently only own one Rolex, my polar 216570. If and when I add another, it would be a Hulk or BLNR. I love the models with a pop of color.

Those are hard to argue with. I have not to this day tried a Y/G sub on .... I think it is probably better I don't.

Thank you! Is an 1968, 1803 Spanish Days.
My father bought it new almost 50 years ago and keeps excellent time.

The current BLRO (116719) and a yellow gold Datejust w/black dial and diamond markers (116238) would nicely cover my sport watch and dress watch needs.

Objectively, I'd say Sub and Daytona.

Subjectively, since I do not like chronos that much, I'd go with the Sub and a DJ (fluted bezel/jubilee)
