Finally! Delivery truck brought it in today at 5 PM… Tomorrow morning....Dealer prep, window tint, Nfab steps,… Then she comes home tomorrow evening.

I was able to start it, but not drive it, as it’s still in shipping mode. But boy does it sound awesome !!

Thank you! That’s a detached garage where the Jeep & Harley will be parked once the lift is installed in the main garage. For now it has my little red, go fast vehicle in it :)

Congrats on the new Wrangler Richard! I drive a JK Sahara Unlimited and can’t imagine how much fun a Hemi would be. I’d love to hear how it rides.

Thank you! I drove a JK for many years, and it was my son & daughter’s first car. The 392 is a blast to drive (although still in the break in phase), it rides just as nicely as the JLUR I traded in. I’ve kept it stock, other than a few non-performance add ons. Jeep did a good job insuring the ride stayed nice, despite the many changes all around.
There are tons of jeeps where I live, and so far the reaction from owners is funny if one is near me when I start it up
Just not a sound you’re used to hearing when you start up a Jeep Wrangler

Congrats looks awesome!

Wife wants a Jeep or a G wagon (LOL) and with the recent chip shortage the prices of G wagons are astronomical even on the used market. How does the new JL drive on the road/highway compared to the older JK?

I can only compare my JLU (19) to my old TJ (97). Jeeps have come a LONG way... My original had manual windows / locks, no cruise, no comforts etc.. Jeeps today have remote start, heated seats, heated steering wheels, power everything, several top choices, and more.

The ride itself is not a luxurious smooth cruise unless you are on a nice flat road. You feel everything in a Jeep, and a gusty day can make highway travel slightly annoying (not impossible by any means). My wife and I both love driving it and the kids love riding in it. I could see getting another one after this. Plus, I put in the effort installing a hoist for the hardtop in my garage for the Summer (love this).

Since I 've owned the Wrangler, more than five or six random people in parking lots / gas stations have asked what I think of it, and my answer is you should get one! Four wheel drive in the snow and top down in the summer... Hard to beat!
