Here you go! Seems nobody was silly enough to try this so I thought I'd be the first.

The only thing I noticed when putting the Jubilee back on was that the end of the spring bars appeared wider. I didn't measure them so not 100% sure!!

However, the end links of the Oyster were rock solid when in position and that was using the bars that came out of my 116713LN. It may have just been my mind or eyes playing tricks on me but either way, the fit was perfect!

I thought this was a troll... then he figured out how to upload pictures...

On a serious note, the oyster looks like it doesn't sit flush with the case on the edge.

Looks that way. Why they would do such a thing is beyond ridiculous in my opinion.

Did they really think someone wouldn't try the switch in the first days of ownership?

The Oyster sits the same way on the 116710 too. I honestly don’t think there is any difference. If I have the time on Monday when I’m back in the shop (I own pawnbrokers/jewellers) I’ll try the Julbilee on the Batman too!! As well as full steel Oyster on the Pepsi.

I’ll struggling to see any difference in the case shape at all to be honest.

Do you have a Sub Glidelock bracelet to test on it? I have that set up on my BLNR right now and I'd love to see if this works.

I do have one in the shop. I’ll see if I have time. Don’t want to rush anything and scratch the underside of the lugs too much. I’m pretty confident that if the current GMT Oyster works then the Sub Glidelock would too.

Yes fits perfectly with oyster bracelet.
The watch is 116719.

Not being able to change out the jubilee for oyster is Rolex way to protect and distinguish from the white gold model.
OTOH the oyster on 116719 is white gold and cannot fit into ss GMTs, this is a specific security feature.

My watch is the 126710. Notice no precious metal hallmarks on the underside of case. 116719 owners won’t be happy for sure!

As a WG BLRO owner, I, for one, hope an oyster fits the 126710. No hard feelings here... I am certain that someone will mod-it (if needed). I would. I’ll end up with both, someday. Love putting a glide lock on other references and changing up with jubilee. That’s part of the original charm of ones like the 5 digit: being able to swap bracelets and bezels. Hope the BLNR bezel is interchangeable too (the entire bezel, because there’s not a good way to swap ceramic inserts like we can on the 5 digit aluminum). I’ll be standing by to see the outcome. Good luck.
