Help, First Omega

I have narrowed it down between the Tuesday and the Speedy limited below. Can anyone give me the pros and cons of each model? My main concerns are resale value as this will be for my wife and I want to make sure I won’t lose my shirt when I go to upgrade at a later anniversary.

I'd personally buy whichever one she liked more and not worry about which may have a higher resale value later on down the road...

Resale on both of your options seems to be holding up well. The Speedy Tuesday is probably the more collectible model in the future.

I agree with bmrisko: between those two, choose the watch you believe she and you will enjoy the most. If you were looking at a standard Speedmaster Professional, then you would have to consider more carefully because used ones trade for ~60% of MSRP, and getting a discount on your purchase would be important.

She really likes the Tuesday! What would be a respectable buy in price on one as of today?

6.5 inch. Should wear a little big, but she has tried the 42mm and loves it

I like the Tuesday in this fight. Both in terms of aesthetics and resale speculation (just IMO).

I like both but I'd buy her whatever watch she wants.

not a bad problem to have. I originally wanted the CK as well but those are more annual type LE. the ST seems more special in that regard.

Just in! NATO comes in Monday. Definitely glad I went with the 42mm. I was surprised how small it wears compared to my 43mm yacht club
